Dr. Siripireddy Raghava Reddy, MD, MBA
North American Telugu Association (NATA) deeply mourns the sudden demise of Dr. Siripireddy Raghava Reddy, who passed away on October 29th, 2019 in Dallas, Texas after prolonged illness. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Jayanthi and son Mr. Ananth Reddy. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Siripireddy Raghava Reddy's family during this difficult time. Dr. Reddy was an active community leader in Dallas area and has contributed in various ways to many organizations.
Dr. Siripireddy Raghava Reddy was born in 1948 in Pulivendula, YSR Kadapa Dist, Andhra Pradesh. Dr. Reddy has graduated from Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati in 1973. Subsequently he moved to USA and did his specialty training in Neurology from Cleveland Clinic and got certified by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1981. After his Neurology training, he moved to Alabama and practiced many years in Florence, AL and moved to Dallas after his retirement. In SV Medical college, he was a close friend and associate of Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Dr. Prem Reddy when he was doing his House Surgency.
He was the founding member and Board of Director of NATA. Prior to NATA, he was associated with ATA for many years. After moving to Dallas, he has served TANTEX in various capacities including Chairman of Board of Trustees. Dr. Reddy was a great philanthropist and he has contributed to various charitable activities in USA and India. He has helped several farmers and poor needy people in India and also community and cultural services in USA. Dr. Siripireddy Raghava Reddy will be missed by entire NATA family.
