Homage to departed soul of Ranjeet Guru , renowned journalist. I was flabbergasted and overwhelmed with grief to read the news of sad, untimely demise of renowned journalist and columnist Ranjeet Guru. In present time, 61 years is not higher age to leave this mundane world. He could have served and contributed to society. But nobody can change the destiny as death lays its ice hand on even king. His column ,"Aprasanga" dealing with Odisha politics is highly didactic, informative. Odisha lost a great journalist. My personal admiration is that he has contributed to Odisha and Odia language.His untimely death is an irreparable loss to journalistic world when freedom of press is at stake, dissent is suppressed . I express my deep condolence to his bereaved family and pay my homage to departed soul.May his soul rest in peace
