Swift, the twist from ordinary to catastrophe, Some events are accidents … only to some people … who do not know some facts. Arindam Das along with Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force personnel and a camera journalist had boarded the powerboat which was overturned due to the strong current in the river and the young and dedicated Reporter had to face a tragic end. It could have been restricted. He was a phenomenal personality and was popular as the "ground zero" reporter. He was a star reporter and covered all major events - from natural calamities like cyclones Phailin, Fani anti-Naxal operations, crime as well as forest and wildlife. The ODRAF member, Murmu, too died at the Medical after struggling for his life. He was a brave heart and participated in many brave acts and won medals from the Govt. There was no need to take such a risk. This thing could have been taken care of by drone camera by the advanced technology. Not only this case, but this TRP game has also become a parasite in our society. Innocent people are losing their life, respect, and whole life earnings because of various scams for TRP. This should be prevented in the future. Really tragic and unacceptable.
