It's a great loss for Rourkela that Smt Minakshi Dhar a renowned anchor and organizer who has successfully conducted many cultural masterpieces in the city as well as in the state untimely left us today. I was personally monitoring her health at JP Hospital, Rourkela, after she met with an accident while some miscreants tried to snatch her purse on road. I am speechless to express my grief. Her sad and unfortunate demise created a great void in Rourkela. May her noble departed soul find peace in heaven. My deepest condolence to the bereaved family members.

We have lost a very dear friend Prof C M Sharma, former Dean Academic Affairs, and Head Department of English, M D University Rohtak this evening. He breathed his last in Fortis Hospital Gurugram where he was battling COVID. He was gem of a person and full of life. May God grant eternal peace to the noble soul and courage to family and friends to bear this irreparable loss. We fondly called him CM and shall be missing him always Chander Sharma .
