Gurung the 1st president of Mokokchung District Cricket Association 1992 - 2000, at Delhi. He retired from our S S Mutt branch on 31.10. 2007. He worked in Allahabad, Delhi, Madhugiri, Tumkur branches.He was 74 years old. Let us pray for the etenal peace of the departed soul.

Bhupendrabhai is the beloved Husband of Mrs. Shilaben Chawda and doting Father to Hiren Chawda. Bhupendrabhai is the son of (Late) Laxmiben & (Late) Gopalbhai Mangalbhai Chavda, and brother to (Late) Kantibhai Chavda. Please note that due to the UK government’s current Covid 19 restrictions, there will be no Condolence Service (Besvanu). The family kindly requests that the condolers and sympathy bearers pay their respects via the contact number, rather than at their respective addresses. There will be a private Funeral Service to be attended by invited family members and friends only.

He passed away today at 4:30 pm (24.05.2021) at his residence in Rajendra Nagar, Patna. Anna Alvarez Garcia April 15, 1922 - May 21, 2021 Anna Alvarez Garcia (99), of Santa Maria, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family as they recited the rosary on Friday, May 21, 2021. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, June 2, with Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 3 at 9:30 AM. Both services will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow at the Santa Maria Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Moreno Mortuary. Anna was born in El Modena, a suburb of Orange, California to Miguel and Soledad Alvarez on April 15, 1922. She attended grade school in El Modena, Santa Paula and Carpinteria. Anna married Gilbert Garcia on April 25, 1948, at the old St. Mary's Church in Santa Maria. They had five children: Arthur, Arleen, Eleanor, Gilbert and Andy. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, her husband Gilbert, and her son-in-law, Bob Abadajos. Her only surviving sibling is Arnie Alvarez. Anna is survived by her children: Arthur and Carmen Garcia, Arleen and Rogelio Flores, Eleanor Abadajos, Gilbert and Luanne Garcia, Andrew and Rosa Garcia. Grandchildren: Rogelio Flores and his wife Jennifer, Miguel Garcia and his wife Laura, Nicole Garcia and her husband Dan Lindner, Christina (Flores) Bullard and her husband Ramon, Andrew Garcia, Elena Garcia, Steven Garcia and his wife Ali, David Garcia, and Victoria Garcia. Great-grandchildren: Matthew and Isabella Garcia. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren Andrew, David, Nicole, Rogelio, Steven, and Victoria. Earlier in her life, Anna worked in the home, fields and food processing plants. She also worked at the Santa Maria Preschool for many years. She enjoyed helping many children of the Santa Maria Valley build a strong educational foundation. She believed education is the key to success. Anna had a passion for gardening. Her yard was always full of a large variety of happy plants. She enjoyed sharing flowers with her friends, spending time with her grandchildren and sharing a piece of chocolate, which always brought a smile. She took every opportunity to travel when possible and had many outings with the senior clubs and her family. A lifelong Catholic, she enjoyed making and praying thousands of rosaries. Anna's family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Richard Zachrich, Kristin Alden, RN, Santa Maria Hospice, and her care providers, Eva and Valerie. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary's Preschool or Santa Maria Hospice.

The USA Alumni Association mourns the passing on of JIGGER S. LATOZA, AB Political Science Batch 1991 and Alumni Achievement Awardee in the field of Community Service, last 20 May 2021. The remains of Jigger had already been cremated. Those who wish to pay him their last respects may visit the Chapel of the Hills Gegato-Abecia Funeral Homes in Balabago, Jaro, Iloilo City from 30 May to 01 June 2021 (Sunday to Tuesday). Everyone is obliged to observe the requisite safety health protocols during the visit. Our heartfelt condolences to Jigger's family and friends. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord!

ARCH. GREG TIMBOL (Dec. 3, 1930 - May 25, 2021) It is with deep sorrow that the Architecture Advocacy International Foundation, Inc. (AAIF) announces the passing of our beloved Chair, Architect Greg Timbol. This is very sad news for many of us who constantly looked up to Arch. Greg and who have immensely benefitted from his wisdom and unselfish mentorship over the last 4 decades. He and his brands of leadership, integrity and strength of character will all be sorely missed. We pray for him and for the family he leaves behind. Please accept our condolences, Arch. Anna May and the Timbol Family. May he rest peacefully and may perpetual light shine upon him. The Timbol family has announced that Arch. Greg will be at Chapel 305, St. Peter’s Commonwealth Ave QC (with free parking and entrance at the 3rd level). Viewing shall commence tomorrow, Thursday until Saturday (27-29 May) from 8am-5pm only. Please be advised that only persons between 15-65 years of age are allowed inside the facility (and only 10 people are allowed inside the chapel at a time due to prevailing restrictions). The memorial service shall be on Thursday and Friday at 3pm by Pastor Aldrin Teresa. Interment is Saturday afternoon at the Manila Memorial Park in Sucat Paranaque City. Thank You all.
