Mr. Arun Kirtilal Bhansali passed away at age 76 on August 21, 2018 in New Jersey, surrounded by family and close friends. Born on December 20, 1941 in Kolkata, India, Arun moved to the US in 1966. He became a respected member of both the business community and the community at large, serving as a founding member of the Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association, secretary of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and member of Gujarati Literary Academy.
Coming from humble beginnings, his goal was to help give back to those most in need, particularly children in India. His true passion became a reality when he, along with a group of close friends, co-founded Share & Care Foundation in 1982. His friends became his family, the people helped were his purpose, and a commitment to the impoverished to have a chance to build a life with dignity, his vision. Naturally inquisitive with a thirst for knowledge, he loved travel, writing and painting, but Share & Care would always have a special place in his heart.
Most recently, he embarked on the next project which aligned with his vision and ethos, becoming the president of The Breakfast Revolution USA, which continues his commitment to helping disadvantaged children get a start in life.
Arun is survived by his wife Sudha, sons Manan and Maulik, and grandchildren Kaia and Aran. ..#...LIFE HISTORY...
