APTI Odisha is deeply shocked with the sad demise of Dr. Jamula Surya Rao, Founder of Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Berhampur. Dr. Rao was a Doctor by profession, Founder/ promotor of Roland Group of Institutions and a renowned Social Worker. We are honored and blessed to be associated with him. On behalf of the Pharma-fraternity, APTI Odisha offers its unfeigned tributes to the noble soul. Our heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family, Principal & Staffs of RIPS. Zahoor Siddiqui

Former DUTA President and Associate Professor of Department of History, School of Open Learning Zahoor Siddiqui passed away. Once he taught in Satyawati College in the beginning but later he went back to SOL. He was a pioneer of Teachers movement and remained actively associated with it throughout his life. My salute to him.

Smt Manjari Chakravarti

Smt Manjari Chakravarti (88yrs),wife of late Purnendu Chakravarti of Ranchi, on Nov 9 , 2020 at Kolkata. She was the youngest daughter of late Jananjan and Sunity Pal , and great grand daughter of Bipin Chandra Pal, a prominent swadeshi leader. Her younger daughter passed away in 2018. She along with her husband were active members of Ranchi Bramho Samaj till they moved to Kolkata in 2004. She led a beautiful life in the company of family , friends, music and literature.At a ripe age of 88 her life has been one that we all admire and continue to learn from. On behalf of this group we offer our condolence to the bereaved family, daughter Sm Nandini Sen and host of other family members..

ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ସହରର , ଚିଲିକା ସୁନ୍ଦରୀ ଭାବେ ପରିଚିତ ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁରର ମଡେଲ୍‌ ପ୍ରିୟଙ୍କା ଉପାଧ୍ୟାୟ(୨୪)ଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଛି । ପ୍ରିୟଙ୍କା ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ନିବାସୀ ସୁରେଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଉପାଧ୍ୟାୟଙ୍କ ଝିଅ । ଶନିବାର ତାଙ୍କର ଦେହ ଖାରାପ ହେବାରୁ ପରିବାର ଲୋକ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଏମ୍‌କେସିଜି ମେଡିକାଲରେ ଭର୍ତ୍ତି କରିଥିଲେ । ଡାକ୍ତର ତାଙ୍କୁ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରିବା ସହ ଫୁଡ୍‌ ପଏଜନ୍‌ ହୋଇଛି ବୋଲି କହିଥିଲେ । ପରେ ପ୍ରିୟଙ୍କାଙ୍କୁ ପରିବାର ଲୋକ ଡାକ୍ତରଖାନାରୁ ଘରକୁ ନେଇ ଯାଇଥିଲେ । ଘରେ ତାଙ୍କର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହୋଇଥିବା ପରିବାର ଲୋକ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।

Kannada film actor Puneeth Rajkumar passed away after suffering a massive heart attack on Friday morning. Puneeth Rajkumar, 46, one of the marquee names of the Kannada film industry and the youngest of the five children of matinee idol Dr. Rajkumar, passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest on Friday morning.Puneeth Rajkumar has been a public figure in Karnataka since the 1980s. His role as a child actor in Chalisida Modagalu (1983) and Bettada Hoovu (1985) are still remembered fondly. He later debuted as a lead actor in 2002 in the Kannada film Appu. Puneeth has acted in the lead role in over 30 films over two decades and his next film is a psychological thriller drama titled Dvita. Many popular Kannada actors were spotted at the Vikram Hospital on Friday afternoon, including Puneeth’s brother and popular actor Shivarajkumar. Many others took to Twitter to offer their condolences.
